There's no doubt that breakups are painful.
Even though April usually acts carefree and extremely optimistic, she still drowns her sorrows in alcohol when faced with a breakup.
When Bertha took leave to go back, April had already skipped classes for two days.
She hid in her rented room, drinking until she slept, then waking up to drink again; it seemed she had been greatly affected.
"I've tried to console her, but it's useless."
Seeing Bertha, Ivan looked as if he had been pardoned, feeling entirely relieved.
"Talk to her for a bit."
After sending off her brother, Bertha came to April's side and reached out to touch her head.
"Wanna talk to me?"
April looked up at her, then set down her wine glass and hugged her directly.
"Bertha."
Bertha honestly didn't know how to comfort her; all she could do now was quietly accompany her or be a listener.
