"The key is, I can't reach my uncle by phone."
Maya looked a bit anxious, she always had a bad feeling.
"So, I suspect that something might have happened to my uncle."
But this is the Smith Family, if something's going to happen, it shouldn't be with him. Yet, connecting it with Grandpa asking Bertha to go in for a talk, she wonders, could Grandpa be scheming against Uncle?
Bertha was already feeling uneasy, and hearing Maya say this, she started worrying again.
She took out her phone to call Amos Smith while asking Maya.
"Where's Manson?"
Wasn't he supposed to stick closely by Amos Smith?
Maya: "Haven't seen him."
Bertha frowned, the phone wasn't turned off, but no one was answering.
She immediately called Manson, but his phone was continuously busy.
What's going on?
Just as Bertha was feeling restless, Blanche Wells suddenly came over to them.
"Looking for Amos? He went upstairs, and his condition seems a bit off... By the way, Miss Hans went up with him."
