"That's probably not possible now," Sha Chu said with a wry smile. "Previously, another fellow wanted to recruit me. I used him and the new Commander to keep each other in check until you arrived. I thought I'd be relieved when you came, but things turned out differently when I crossed him."
"Then there's no other choice. We'll just have to enter Longevity City together," Li Xiu said with a smile.
"You can still laugh?" Sha Chu gave him a sharp look. "Think carefully. If you take me into Longevity City with you, you'll end up offending both a Commander and a powerful figure there even before entering the city. Are you sure you want to bring me along?"
