After a night of light rain, the sky had cleared. Morning dew kissed the tender tips of willow leaves, poised to fall but not quite. The spring breeze blew gently, making the willow branches flutter.
Su Bei lazily stretched his back, rubbed his sleepy eyes, and looked out the window. After the rain in Jiangnan, the air seemed to carry a whiff of the earth's fragrance. Subconsciously, he glanced at the bed; aside from a neatly folded brocade quilt, there was nothing else.
A hint of surprise flashed in Su Bei's eyes. Strange, this prodigal disciple of mine actually got up early without being lazy?
He could feel the Spiritual Energy inside his body increasing bit by bit. Su Bei got up and walked towards the door, the breeze gently lifting his rumpled robe.
"Master!"
Two disciples wiped the fine sweat from their foreheads and looked towards Su Bei in unison.
Su Bei nodded in satisfaction.
