This building, with its overhanging eaves and painted rafters, radiant with colorful light, was at least ten times more imposing than the surrounding shops. Its entrance was also massive, with bright red doors standing wide open. Unlike the neighboring stores, however, only women could be seen entering and exiting this shop; no men were in sight. Compared to the other 'neat and orderly' establishments, it was truly eye-catching!
