Just as Diana ordered the attack on Joanna, the ground beneath her feet suddenly shattered, and two thorn-covered vines shot out, aiming for her neck.
"Louis!"
Diana was both shocked and furious, shouting a name as she rolled sideways to avoid the vine's attack.
The vines, losing their target, grew madly from the ground, entangling several other Knight Commanders nearby.
Diana stood up, drawing her weapon, a slender Western Sword, pointing angrily at a male Player who had stood behind her.
"You're betraying me too?!" Diana couldn't understand; Louis had been her classmate since middle school, why would he turn against her?
"Betray?"
Louis, a youth with skin so fair it seemed unhuman, dressed in Western medieval noble attire, appeared courteous.
"When the princess made us sign a servitude contract, did she ever consider our safety?"
