"And who are you?" Mrs Whitney questioned her
Angel shook back in fear; what the hell? Beads of sweat were already forming on her forehead, and she didn't know what to say at that point. She started to shake and stammer; thank God she took precautions by putting on a scarf, sunglasses and a mask.
Seeing her reaction Mrs Whitney knew in an instant that she was an imposter and she got really serious
"I should be asking you that foolish question, how dare you just enter into someone's ward just like that, did you lose your way or what?" she shouted at her
"I should be asking you, that young lady, what are you doing close to Jane? Chris specifically asked that no one come inside here, and what is that in your hands? Are you trying to hurt my girl?" she asked her.
Seeing that she was already getting caught, she quickly moved away from Jane and packed her things
"I'm a specialist, but since you don't appreciate my efforts around here, I will just go to other wards then,", she said and quickly left the ward, almost running; someone else must not see her. If not, she's screwed.
She met the nurse on the way but pretended not to see her "Ma your coffee" she said
"Just take the coffee and change everything, I have to quickly go somewhere," she said and hurriedly walked out of the hospital
When the nurse came back into the ward, she met Mrs Whitney helping Jane massage her feet and legs
"did you see anyone come in here before me nurse?" Mrs Whitney asked her
"yes, ma'am, she said that she is a friend, and I have seen her here before; she just left now cause I saw her on the way; she even asked that I get her coffee", she explained and pointed the coffee to Mrs Whitney.
"hmm I see but I don't think that she came here for a visit, she was holding a syringe and she wanted to inject something into my girl's drip I'm very sure of it, can you please get the doctor to come check if everything is okay with my girl?" she said
"Yeah sure I will do that right away" she said and left to call Mike
Mike was in a meeting and he could not come to the ward immediately as soon as he was done with it
"good morning Mrs Whitney, the nurse said that you called for me" he said
"yes please hmm someone came in here and tried to harm my girl, she's a lady she was putting on a glove and she was trying to inject something into her drip, can you check if the drip is still safe for her," she said
"What!" he exclaimed
"Someone tried to hurt her, where were you nurse?" he asked
"when she came in she said that she was a friend and she asked that I get her some coffee, I saw her when I was coming back and she said that she didn't need the coffee and that she needed to get somewhere and she was in a hurry" she explained
"Yeah and she also said that she is a specialist and that she was going to other wards" Mrs Whitney added
"How can you allow a stranger to just walk into the ward, this is why Chris asked that I get someone to look after her," he said
"I've seen her around a lot, she was even here the day the family came to visit" the nurse interjected
"Something is you to bring me another drip right away so I can bring that down and examine it", he instructed her, and she obliged; he just hoped that something serious had not taken place, and he hoped that it was not who he thinks it is.
The nurse brought the new set of drips and they started to remove each one that was there before from the pole, but as Mike was removing them he noticed some liquid on one of the drips
"Someone should get me a tube right now" he said and it was brought down to him
Mike took the sample and closed it he needed to take everything here for a test
"Mrs Whitney, we will be back soon; we need to get this tested, do not allow anyone to come in here", he said and left with the nurse.
Angel drove as fast as she could; she was an attack right now; she really could not go to jail. Her entire life would be completely over; she drove very far away before she put a call through to her father, she just; shes thathopedicks they would pick
up
"Hello Dad we have trouble" she said immediately after she got through to him
"Angel what is it again?" he asked angry, she can't even do one thing right
"Someone caught me trying to inject the poison into the drip, I was as careful as possible but the person just came from nowhere" she said
"were you able to inject it?" he asked
"no Dad but that's not the main thing right now, I don't want to go to jail, they cannot know that I'm the one trying to inject that, Chris will make my life a living hell, please dad help me we can get rid of her another way," she said
"All alright fine I will have someone erase the CCTV footage, just come home here, nobody must know you were out today," he said
"Okay, Dad", she agreed.
Immediately she hung up, Jonas put a call through "I need you to help me clear the CCTV footage of a ward in city hospital, I will send you the details" he said and hung up, none of his plans for today worked out, now he has to go sit down and listen to that idiot talk at the meeting.
