It wasn't hard to deduce what was the content inside beast core from merlin's previous statement, because the only thing capable of destroying the barrier surrounding us would be Aura bombs and fairly stronger one at that.
Both demons had a frightful expression on their faces as the Aura bombs exploded few meter away from their location with a defining sound.

With merlin's will, half the ether I had preserved left my hand and covered my entire body absorbing the brunt of aura but the same couldn't be said for those two demons who took the head on damage from Aura bomb of an Aura master while their mana supply were restricted.
The aura sealed inside the aura bombs belonged to Aura master Jabel whom I had fought inside the dimension pocket.
It was sealed inside my body as I was unable to control it unless I have merged with a beast core compatible with aura but it didn't imply that I cannot use it some other way.
Soon after the blast both Anti mana barrier and Rebound barrier shattered but no attack came our way which was to be expected.
Extending his hands forward merlin gave command to Ether and obliging to his will, ether shot out from my body, absorbing the residual aura from surrounding clearing the battlefield in front of us.
The ground surrounding us has been scorched complete black, and no life was detected within the area 100 meter around us other than two pseudo immortal physique demons and me.
When I looked in the distant I saw the demon general had covered the young demons body akin to a shield, he has somewhat saved the young demon from aftermath of aura bomb but half of his body had melted in the process, his wounds weren't regenerating because the aura belonged to an aura master, who was capable of effecting the regeneration of draconic physique experts let alone an incomplete immortal physique.
"Youuu bastarrdddd…." The young demon shouted and tried to transform into his beast form ignoring the pain.
'You can handle it from here.' Merlin said and I took the helm of the ship.
I had given merlin control before because in order to keep the barrier functioning, presence of a rune master was required inside the barrier and now that the barrier has been lifted without wasting anymore time, I attacked both demons with barrage of lightning attacks.
I was expecting a counter attack from young demon because the barrier has been lifted and he could manipulate mana as before but he held the unconscious demon general's body in his claws and few in the air heading toward the battlefield in his hybrid form.
His speed was astonishing as eagle was also called the king of sky, their eyes could perceive what is miles away and the precision they had was unrivaled compared to all mammals on this planet but all this enhancement were useless in front of god of beasts 'Dragons'.

The world around me slowed down and my speed increased to that of a light speed, the eagle's eyes were focused on my previous location, where my afterimage was still visible while at the same time a huge 5 feet gaping hole appeared in his stomach.
Midway I started rotating my body in circular motion at the rate eyes couldn't perceive and collided with the hybrid eagle head on.
The demon had dropped the body of demon general in his last moment trying to fasten his speed further but his damaged body wasn't capable of increasing his speed any further as soon an 5 feet round hole appeared on his 5 meter huge body and he fell to the ground with a painful cry.

I crushed the heart of young demon with lightning sword and landed on his head smashing it to the pieces as a core flew out of his body and rolled in front of me.
The demon general was lying on the ground not far from us, even after falling from kilometer height, he wasn't dead and looked at me with hazy vision.
Zooming my vision I saw him murmur something which can only be his last words but one thing I noticed was that mana was too unstable around him which could only mean he was thinking of blowing himself.
'Not on my watch' I said.

His eyes widened in horror as his core stopped without his consent and based on the ability I just used, it didn't take a genius's guess to understand that I had merged with dragon's core.
Manifesting a lightning sword, I pierced the heart of demon general retrieving his core and stored both demons bodies inside space rune.
I could still here the vails and cries from the distance battlefield as many powerful entities were clashing there with each other.
The battle until now could just be called a warm up as compared to the clash between true immortal experts.
Earl jabel's strength was also comparable to an full fledge immortal rank expert, but he was an expert in true sense, in front of his deadly aura this measly pseudo immortals would die without being able to lift their fingers.
I was almost 2 kilometers away from the battlefield when I used [Dragon gaze] and piqued into the messed up battlefield, it was true hell as blood and bodies were scattered everywhere, countless mana spells were being fired by both sides without differentiating between friends or foe.
'Time is ticking.' Merlin said.
'Let's join the fun.' I said flying toward the battlefield to implement the next stage of my plan.
Half the ether was still lying in the bodies of its victim or was mixed in the blood splattered on the ground.
'Come to me.' I ordered and ether started to leave the bodies of its victim and came toward me merging with its other half.
Before arriving on the battlefield I disguised myself in my fake baron persona and manifested two chained blades in my hand, which were made of ether and looked similar to blade of chaos from game god of war I had played in my previous world.
'I always wanted to do this.' I shouted in my mind akin to a child and entered the Frey starting the mindless killing.
I jumped in the battlefield and started cutting friends and foes alike without any hesitation, as people noticed a psychopath they distanced themselves from me but the reach of blade of chaos was being adjusted as I wished.
A battle was ongoing on both sides and I caught sight of earl simon fighting against earl coslen, earl simon seemed to have upper hand in the fight as he was being supported by his son and his army general.
'Don't be fooled, it seem to me that earl coslen is toying with earl simon giving him false hope that they have a upper hand in this fight.' Merlin said observing both earls.
After senseless killing for another 4 to 5 minutes both the forces were reduced to mere 50-70 peoples on each side while oblivious to all this both earl fought in the distance further weakening each other.
