Prior to known description, the great dragon Daeva was projected as this large, ugly beast with a crown of ugly horns on his ugly head with blazing ugly eyes that stared into souls and snatched them from their vessels; possessed ugly flames that destroyed cities, and was the ugly incarnation of evil itself.
As the years piled on and generations followed one after the other, many of the dragon's descriptions changed drastically. Each generation, relying on nothing but verbal accounts in the form of stories passed down from those before them added or subtracted minor details here and there until most of the truth about the great dragon was either greatly or minorly exaggerated, diluted, and distorted.
