Henry Ronan listened to Lucy Ansley's straightforward tone, and couldn't help but comfort her in a deep voice, "There's no need to belittle yourself."
"I'm not belittling myself." Lucy Ansley glanced back at the man and pulled a smile, "It's a fact, you could also call it self-awareness."
Her expression was not troubled, nor did it seem self-deprecating, as if it were none of her concern.
She stated it with perfect composure, even her gaze was calm, without a hint of emotion.
The man's thin lips pressed slightly, and some unusual emotions appeared in his deep black eyes, "Have you really thought it through?"
Lucy Ansley bit into a salty egg pastry, gently nodding her head, "I've thought it through. You don't have to worry too much, actually, even as a mutual courtesy, what I've done can't compare to the help you've given."
Hearing this, Henry Ronan lowered his eyes and laughed softly.
Her straightforward and decisive attitude made him seem indecisive instead.
