Looking at the three graves, she smiled and sat down. Without hesitation, she began digging. The coffins creaked open, revealing only bones. She carefully lifted the bones from all three graves and held them in her hands. Once done, she set the bones aside, replaced the coffins, and covered them with soil.
Clutching the bones, Levy moved toward another unknown place, unnoticed, since the area was deserted.
She arrived at the cemetery of another town and repeated the same grim task. This time, the bodies were still fresh, and drops of blood fell to the ground as she extracted the bones. Levy quickly covered the graves with soil and fled but this time, two people returning from work had seen her.
Panicked, they called the police. When the officers arrived, the witnesses explained what they had seen. The townspeople began gathering around as well.
"It might be an illusion," one officer suggested.
"How can it be an illusion? We clearly saw a girl standing near these graves," one witness insisted.
"Was she just standing there?"
"No, sir. First, she looked at the graves, but then she started digging. She took out the bones and then put soil back on the graves."
"What? Bones… and you just stood there watching? Aren't you ashamed?"
"Sir, you mean we should have stopped her? And she would have taken the bones out of our bodies? Sir, we are not fools."
"Oh, you cowardly bastards! What was that girl wearing?"
"She wore a black wrap dress. That's all we saw."
"Her face? I mean, what did she look like?"
"If a mysterious girl is standing in front of you at 2 a.m. in a graveyard, would you really want to see her face?"
"Answer the question. What did she look like?"
"Her face was covered by her hair."
"Alright, you may go. Stand right there."
When the officers entered the cemetery, they froze in shock. The names on the graves, Havens' family, confirmed the witnesses' story. Blood drops near the graves made it undeniable: the bones had been exhumed.
One officer stepped out to address the crowd. "Has anyone seen a girl in a black wrap dress here?"
Austin spoke up. "It's strange… Levy was wearing the same outfit when I saw her the morning of the murder."
"Levy? Isn't she their missing daughter?"
"Yes, sir."
"That's… strange. The missing girl was seen exhuming the bones of her parents and siblings?"
"What does she want to do?" murmured the crowd in unease, fear, and confusion.
