"None of you ever considered how I felt in this marriage—a marriage prepared for me by my father. Edmund was never my first or second choice to get married to but I remained quiet and married him because it would be a good look for your grandfather. I sent you away because I needed time to myself and to let you avoid the drama from your father's affairs," Priscilla said, gripping the cell bars.
"I screwed up as a mother but the one thing I thought would be the best option was to send you away from school when that woman kept showing up. The first time she showed up angry and screaming for Edmund to leave me and be with her.
