As the guards escorted me inside the palace, in the hallway the walls were painted in gold, a lot of paintings were also hang on the wall, they look like the paintings back in the Renaissance period. The floor of the hallway were covered with porcelain tiles with the design of a golden lily on it and with small blue flowers that look like clovers. The hallway has a high ceiling in the color white with gold frames.
The guards stop in front of a huge door with lions carved in both sides of the door. The two guards that was in front of me opened the door and inside is a huge room in a different color, it was in the color red and black. The guards push me inside the room and shut the door behind me.
I walk around the room looking around, there are two thrones in front and a large chandelier hanging on the ceiling. "state your name." I heard a voice in front of me, so I turn around and there he is my protagonist Zagreus, he is sitting on the thrown and playing with a little dagger on his right hand. Why does those this guy look so lovely?

"STATE YOUR NAME." Zagreus said in a loud voice that echoed throughout the room. His voice would make a mere person kneel in fear but not me. "Hiraya" I said calmly "how old are you?" He said not even looking at me and continue to play with his dagger "14" I answered "crime?" He asked. "defeating a silver guard" I answered, he stop playing with his dagger and look at me "revenge?" he asked, seeing in his eyes he showed a bit of interest on me " challenge him in the name of a goddess" I answered " in the name of a goddess." He whispered "how to do you plead?" he asked "guilty" I answered.
"GUARDS!" he shouted and the guards came bursting out the door "take him to the dorm" he commented them and went back to playing his dagger. " right away your highness" the guard with the gold armour said and the two silver guards proceed to drag me outside of the room.
As we exist the main building of the palace, they escorted me to another building. We pass young boys training with swords and other weapons, gardens, and other buildings. They stop me at a rustic house, at the front of the house it had a nice porch and on the side of the house there were wild lilies in all different colors. One of the silver guards knock at the door as the door opened we were greeted by a woman that might be in her 20s. "hello there" she greeted with a smile on her beautiful face. She is white as snow white, her lips are in the color of pink like the roses and here black shiny hair is like a gem stone. "we are here to drop of this thing" the silver guard said while pointing at me.
Thing?! How dare you! Say such thing to me, hmph. The other silver guard took off the rusty hand cuffs off me and push me to the lady. " hello, there, come inside" she said in a soft tone voice. I came inside the house and she bide the guard good day and close the door behind her. She turned and look at me "what's your name dear?" she asked "Hiraya" I answered.
"I'm Lilian, come on let's go to your room" she said "room?" I said trying to act confused "yes, this is a dormitory where young boys such as yourself stay to be guards or wait until they are in right age for execution" she answered "ohhh..." I said. I already knew that but the one I don't know is you, I have never written a name for the girl who runs this place, yet you have a name. Weird.
"come on now" said while walking up the stairs and I followed her "she led me to a room at the end of the hallway and opened the door. The room was small but look fine. There is one bed a desk and a chair next to the bed and at the right side there is a cabinet and a window in front of the desk. "This will be your room Hiraya, your necessary needs will be delivered to you and there is a lamp under the desk with candles and matches use them as you wish at night" she said to me as I go inside the room. " I will take my leave now, dinner will be at 5pm sharp, lights out at 7pm, and morning calls at 6am" she said to me while closing the door. I hear her foot steps at the hallway then it fades away quickly. "ahahaha, finally, I'm alone, those hand cuffs hurt my risk so bad and now I can finally rest for bit" I said to myself as I lay down on the bed.

I heard knocking at my door so I got up and opened it. I saw a young boy wearing a white long sleeve polo with black pants, his hair is colored like the sun and his eyes have the color of nature in them, dang this guy have good looks, of course he does his one of the companions of Zagreus, Ashir. Ashir is the first companion of Zagreus and his right hand man.
Zagreus made him his companion cause of his strength and he had save him from a siren making Ashir devote his life to him in paying him for saving his life.
"here are your change of clothes" he said while handing them to me, I took it away from his hands, he also gave me a set of toiletries "thank you" I said to him with a smile on my face " dinner would be ready in a hour, I will be back to escort you to the dinning hall." He said to me without showing emotion in his face and left. Rude. I close the door and put the clothes and toiletries inside the cabinet and lay back on the bed.
I wish I had my phone or my laptop so I can read my novel again. I sighed and open my window to let in a breeze, it was already getting dark outside but the view looks amazing it's like one of does landscape paintings, you see in art galleries. I looked down and saw Zagreus with two other boys, they were talking and laughing, I couldn't make out what they were saying. I watch them for a bit and Zagreus head look up to my direction and we made eye contact for about 8 seconds and after that I turn away and I close the window and I hear knocking at the door.
I walk towards the door and opened it " it's time for dinner, follow me" he said to me. I went outside of my room and close the door and Ashir started walking in the hallway and down stairs and I followed him "what's your name?" I asked "Ashir krienz, son of Kirril, you?" he said to me while opening the door " Hiraya" I answered and we both went outside and he closed the door behind us "no last name?" he asked while walking in front of me "no" I replied "your a slave?" he asked.
It's natural for him to think of me as a slave since almost all the slave don't have last names.
"yes" I said "no master?" he asked "no" I replied while we were walking pass a rose flied garden. "criminal?" he asked "yes and no" I replied "what do you mean?" he asked turning to me with a curious look " it's complicated" I said. He didn't ask more after that and continued on walking; our only light that made the path visible is the white light of the moon shinning down upon us.
We both entered a huge dinning hall; many boys were gathered around chatting and laughing at their own table. "find an empty seat for yourself" Ashir said to me and walk towards a table were Zagreus is on and he sat on the empty seat next to him; their were a lot of strong and muscular boys that surrounded him, talking.
Zagreus noticed my present and look my way, our eyes met again. I turn my head a round and look away from him; and find an empty seat. After a few minutes of searching, I finally found a sit and sat there. The seat was located at the corner away from the group were Zagreus was located at. Great, how do I become a companion of that narcissistic prince, that looks lovely as a flower but a terrible monster on the inside.

I pout my lips and kick my feet like a child putting on a tantrum. Why did I get sekaid out of all the people in the world? Like dude I'm supposed to be failing a biology test right now and not putting my life on the line here. After a few minutes of me putting on a tantrum, the foods were served in front of us by maids. The dinner are one fried fish with mash potatoes on the side there are grilled asparagus; our drink were just water, there was large fruit basket on the table filled with different types of fruits.
After we ate our dinners we still have an hour of free time before lights out. The other boys talk with each other, play games, others lay on the grass staring at the night sky. I walk around outside and watch them, I saw Zagreus with Ashir and a bunch of other boys throwing dangers on a tree like darts, I watch them for a bit— Zagreus is good at it, it makes me proud cause I'm the one who made him good at this. A strong gust of wind came and Zagreus thrown one of his dagger the direction of it changes, the dagger almost hit me in face "HOLY APPLES!" I yelled in surprised of what just happened to me "sorry are you alright?" I heard the calm voice of Zagreus looking at me with an emotionless gaze "what do you think?! I almost lost my precious face and the first sentence you come up with is are you alright? Do you think that I'm alright huh?!" I said to him while pouting like a child and rise my middle finger to him and walk away. I didn't look back cause if I did I would be killed. I hope this plan works. I walk back to the dorm and my only light is the moon, as I walk back to the dorm the view of the dorm is amazing, you know the aesthetic like fantasy background thing. I opened the door of the dorm and got inside and I went straight to my room. I opened my window and gaze at the sky for awhile, "the sky is so pretty" I whispered to myself. " I wonder if my family will be okay without me, I hope that my friends won't start world domination without me, joke, ahahaha" I sighed and continue to look at the scenery.
