Chapter 54 - Chapter 54: A gift

Mary stepped closer with that warm smile still lingering, her earlier filthy thoughts tucked away deep—body still humming faint from the heat, but focus shifting back to work.

The trio fell into easy rhythm quick, each taking a spot around the store. Alex manned the counter main, ringing up the few stragglers with smooth efficiency. Mary stocked shelves in the back aisles, bending low to grab boxes—her tight jeans hugging her thick hips just right, drawing his crimson eyes now and then.

Ash wiped down the glass windows, her short frame stretching up on tiptoes for the top shelves.

Chatter flowed light between tasks and accidental touches piled up natural. Alex reaching for a high shelf behind Ash, his chest flush to her back, feeling her curves mold perfectly against him. She'd freeze breathy, not pulling away fast, but her voice stayed soft and hesitant when she spoke. Lust hummed quiet between all three, eyes lingering hungry when no customers watched, but they kept it pro and in control.

A couple of hours ticked by steady—sun peaking outside. "Break time. Here's a drink." They huddled behind the counter again, Mary pouring cheap coffee from a pot, Ash nibbling a candy bar quiet. Mary sighed heavy, leaning on the edge, ponytail slipping loose. "Business sucks today. Barely anyone. At this rate, we'll close for good soon."

Alex sipped his coffee slowly, eyes thoughtful. "When'd you open? Why this spot?"

Mary rubbed her temples, voice tired but chatty as always. "Three months back. Used every penny of savings—took debt too. This place was abandoned, cheap on an empty street. I thought a quiet area meant steady locals. Wrong. Few big convenience stores nearby suck up everyone."

Ash nodded glum, golden eyes downcast, speaking soft. "Told her... but she wouldn't listen." Her voice trailed hesitant, fingers twisting the candy wrapper.

Alex went quiet, mind churning hard—staring at the empty street through glass. Not completely dead. Low rent meant low overhead; just needed eyes on the store. Ash's earlier words echoed—Anna's socials flooded with his photos, viral without asking. Perfect leverage. 'Liza, any advice? To pull traffic here?'

Liza's voice purred instant in his head, smirk audible. 'Come on, handsome—you're hot as hell. Got two beauties right here blushing for you. Face of the store, boom. Beauty pulls 'em in every time. Women stare at you, guys at them. Free marketing. Oh—and Anna's socials? Just tell her to want to take more photos.'

Alex nodded to himself subtle, glancing between Mary and Ash—Mary's mature curves filling out her work clothes perfect, Ash's youthful hourglass popping even in casual fit. Liza nailed it. Liza was right, all of them were good-looking.

Mary caught his thoughtful look, tilting head expressively. "What? You've got any ideas? Spill it, Alex!"

He leaned forward steady, voice calm. "I'll think more on a plan to bring customers... might involve Anna."

Mary's eyes lit up curious, leaning in closer. "Anna? Ooh, how?"

Ash glanced up shy, golden eyes flickering with caution. "Anna? W-what for?"

Alex shrugged light, keeping it vague. "I'll see what I can do. Trust me—I'll figure it out."

Mary pressed eagerly once more, but Alex just couldn't yet reveal the plan. Break wrapped quickly after that, vague hope lingering in her chatter and Ash's quiet nod.

Another hour passed in steady work—more touches, more stolen glances. A few more sparse customers trickled in. Everyone handling them smoothly, Mary chatting them up bubbly to squeeze extra sales, Ash hovering cautious at the edges, handing bags with soft "T-thanks."

Alex's first shift wrapped clean. Time to head home, rest before afternoon classes. He grabbed his bag from behind the counter, slinging it over his shoulder. "Good luck. See you tomorrow." Mary waved from the back aisle, buried in a box of sodas, her voice echoing cheerful but distant.

He cut through the aisles toward the door, footsteps steady on the linoleum. But soft hurry footsteps sounded behind.

Ash caught up quick just before he reached the exit, cheeks flushed deep red, hands clasped tight between her thick thighs like she fought some inner war.

She fidgeted hard, golden eyes glued to the floor, long brown hair falling forward to half-hide her burning face. Words stuck in her throat, breath coming shallow.

Alex paused, turning with a warm smile, voice gentle and low. "Hey, what's wrong? Need something?"

She swallowed thick, still not meeting his eyes—shifting weight from one foot to the other, thighs pressing tighter.

Finally, she pulled one hand up slowly, palm open toward him—averting her gaze even harder, blush creeping down her neck.

A delicate necklace rested there, thin silver chain with a tiny heart pendant glinting soft in the store lights. "I-I... picked this up this morning. For you. Y-you helped me a lot... saved my life even. T-thanks... for everything."

Alex took it carefully from her trembling palm, crimson eyes softening as he held it up, inspecting the little heart with a genuine grin. "This is cute, Ash. Really thoughtful. Thanks." He slipped the chain on smooth, the tiny heart settling cool against his shirt—warming quickly from his body. Tilting his head playful, he stepped a bit closer, voice teasing light. "How's it look on me?"

Ash peeked up once through her hair, golden eyes widening huge at the sight—him wearing her gift, necklace peeking out just right, his tall frame making it look almost delicate.

Her breath hitched loud, face exploding nuclear red, hands flying back between her legs as her whole body quivered.

Heart slammed wild in her chest, thighs clenching desperate like she fought a flood of feelings too big to name.

She opened her mouth once, twice—no words came, just a tiny whimper escaping.

Couldn't handle it anymore—she spun on her heel fast, long hair whipping, and bolted back toward the counter, sneakers squeaking on the floor. Left him standing there chuckling soft, fingers brushing the new necklace warm.

Alex shook his head amused, pushing out into the late afternoon sun, and hearing the succubus seductive voice echoing in his head like the usual. 'You should give her a "gift" too hehe~'
