Grace Parker clung to his arm, her whole body almost pressed against him.
The two of them didn't seem to notice her standing at the staircase entrance.
"Lorraine Hanson, you can't treat me like this! Even if I lied to you, you still can't ignore me!" Grace's face alternated between blue and white, her slender neck flushed red; it looked like she had drunk a lot, her body was unstable, and she swayed slightly.
"Go back, I don't want to discuss this." The man's voice was somewhat cold, sending a shiver through one's heart.
Grace shook her head, tears finally rolling down, her hands trembled as she tightly held on to him, unable to speak through sobs.
"Leave!" Lorraine's large hand gripped her shoulder and pushed her away, his handsome face as cold as ice. "I don't want to lose my temper with you!"
"No, no, you can't ignore me! You can't!" Grace's face was ashen; he hadn't answered her calls or seen her for many days. She knew this time he was truly angry.
