Just as he was about to sit back on the sofa, the nurse on duty pushed the door open and entered.
There were four nurses in total, one of whom was giving handover instructions to the other three. They exchanged a few words before three nurses came over to ask Fiona Schmidt how she was feeling.
Fiona said the pain on her face had mostly subsided, but her eyes still couldn't fully open, feeling swollen and uncomfortable.
The nurses were very patient, comforting her with a few words, and then carefully applied medication for her.
"Thank you." Fiona felt a cool sensation on her face, which was particularly soothing, and she thanked them repeatedly, then quietly lay back down.
The nurses quickly left, and before leaving, they glanced at Norton Abyss sitting on the sofa. All of them were young, unmarried nurses who couldn't help but be a bit excited upon seeing such an outstandingly handsome man.
