Noticing her hand pressed against her upper abdomen, his intuition was that she had a stomachache.
"Wait a minute, I'll get the doctor to come over…" He quickly got up, grabbing his pajamas and putting them on.
Before he could get out of bed, Emma Benson grabbed his arm, opened her eyes, and looked at him: "It's nothing, it's only four o'clock, no need to make a fuss."
Her hand was still on her abdomen, and as the discomfort became more pronounced, she could already feel it was her stomach that was upset.
