The man's handsome face was icy cold, devoid of any warmth, as if he had just come out of an ice cellar.
"Brother!" Emma Benson felt heartbroken and grabbed his arm, shaking it forcefully, trying to make him sober up a bit.
Morgan Benson chuckled lightly, his voice hoarse, "Emma, don't shake me, I'm listening to you..."
The man's hoarse voice made Emma frown, and she pouted and said, "What's wrong with you? Has something happened!?"
She understood her brother; someone as gentle as him would never drown his sorrows in alcohol and act so emotional unless something was wrong.
"It's nothing, don't worry, what could be wrong with your brother?..." He patted her hand, then glanced at everyone else in the room, gesturing for them to leave, "Everyone, go out, it's fine now..."
"Mr. Benson, try not to touch alcohol for a while!" the doctor advised him once more, then everyone left the room one by one.
