She raised her hand, her slender and fair fingertips touching the man's stern brows, gently smoothing out the furrowed center.
"Why didn't you tell me about the bleeding!?" Liam Yancey grabbed her wrist, pressing her hand against his cheek, his dark eyes bloodshot.
"Four had a fever. These past few days, you've been at the hospital and barely closed your eyes. I didn't want you to worry too much. Besides, it's just a little bleeding. Emma Benson, the obstetrician, said it was fine after checking me. Don't you trust even her!?" She rasped hoarsely.
"A little!?" Liam Yancey's originally softened expression turned stern again. He pointed at her pants, still stained with blood, which she hadn't had a chance to change, "You call this a little!?"
