Tara Summer opened her eyes slightly, biting her lip without speaking, her whole body trembling.
"Let's go to the hospital..." Liam Yancey picked her up horizontally and headed toward the door.
Tara couldn't speak anymore, the pain made her furrow her brows tightly, and she grasped the man's collar with a trembling hand, shaking her head gently at him.
Her meaning was there was no need to go to the hospital, Liam Yancey understood, but his feet didn't stop, he strode out quickly.
"Liam, I'm... not... okay..." Before she could finish her sentence, a sudden cramp hit her abdomen, this time it was so intense she almost fainted.
