Tara Summer retched again, feeling a wave of bitterness in her mouth, followed by a surge of stomach acid.
"How are you feeling?" Liam Yancey bent down, one hand resting on the sink, his handsome face tense, his towering body rigid to the extreme, as if about to snap at any moment.
Tara Summer shook her head, intending to give him an answer, but another wave churned in her stomach, and she vomited another mouthful of acid. She felt so miserable she could almost faint, as if she were about to vomit bile.
"Tara?" Liam Yancey had a somber expression. He helped her up, directly wiping away the mess at the corner of her mouth with his fingers, frowning deeply, "…Are you feeling really uncomfortable?"
He held her in his arms, letting her entire weight rest against him, his fingertips caressing her pale little face, feeling deeply distressed.
