Bryan White did not speak, his gaze shifting to the window.
The city of New York was enchanting under the dazzling night lights.
Neither of them spoke again. The restaurant had few patrons, with beautiful music playing. Jane's attire seemed out of place in such an ambiance, drawing inquisitive glances from several people.
Jane didn't mind, focusing on her meal, and after an hour, they paid the bill and left.
"Since we're out, why not have some fun before heading back?!" Jane suddenly suggested at the entrance.
Bryan White showed little interest and said nothing. Seeing this, the woman pulled him along.
"The Boom Boom Room Yo is nearby, just a ten-minute walk. No need to drive, let's walk there."
Bryan White stopped and stared at the hand on his arm. Jane noticed his displeased expression and let go.
The man paused, then strode forward. Jane watched the direction he was heading and couldn't help but smile slightly.
