The pleasurable weekend two days passed quickly; two days aren't particularly long nor short, but the temperature in Lonely City dropped drastically over this weekend. The daily temperature barely reached single digits, making Jiang Shu and his companion a bit lethargic and unwilling to go out.
On Sunday night, nearing midnight, Jiang Shu stood by Sister Ruo's bed, straightening his clothes.
"I'm leaving, I've arranged to meet Du Yuyi at this time," Jiang Shu said, glancing at Liu Tingruo who lay sprawled on the bed.
At this moment, Liu Tingruo was entirely buried under the quilt, her head the only thing visible. Her eyes were fixated on the ceiling where a screen displayed some kind of academic research introduction video.
Although the room should have been warm with the heating on, Liu Tingruo didn't like the toasty feeling. She always refused Jiang Shu for reasons like lack of breathability, then would curl up in the quilt, refusing to budge.
