He needed some level of emotional support, and he could only get that from people he knew.
This Buggy might not be the same as his Buggy, but he understood Buggy to his core.
So, he felt a bit better being around Buggy. That's why he didn't ask for a condition.
He also knew one of the conditions would be about some kind of treasure map.
Hearing what Luffy said, Buggy struggled in his heart for a moment before he replied.
"My two conditions are simple. You need to take me out of this prison."
Luffy nodded immediately.
"You need to give me this. It looks pretty." Buggy immediately showed that the greedy merchant looked as he stared at the arm band that Luffy had.
"Huh? Does this have some kind of treasure?" Luffy was confused when he heard the second request. Because he knew what kind of person Buggy was, he believed only the treasure could move him.
But this arm band looked completely normal. So, the only thing it could have been was a treasure clue or even a treasure map.
"Ahh! You know about it. Curse you, Straw Hat! Now that you know about the Great Treasure of Captain John, how can you give it to me??? Huh?"
Buggy almost burst into tears when he heard Luffy's words. He didn't expect Luffy to know about this arm band. But the next moment, he was stunned because Luffy passed the arm band to him.
"It's a treasure, right? You are as greedy as Nami. Only the treasure map can move you. You can take this, but you have to make sure I reach Level Six."
Luffy said nonchalantly. No matter how good this treasure was, it wouldn't be as important as his brother's life.

Buggy burst into tears as he held the arm band in his hand, but deep down, he was giving a thumbs up to Luffy for his open mind.

"Since level 5 generally has prisoners with the bounty around one hundred million berries, your brother must've been sent to that mysterious level. I can only send you to Level Four."
Hearing that, Luffy frowned and said.
"Alright, but you need to wait for me. I won't leave this prison without my brother."
Seeing this, Buggy nodded.
"Hahaha! You understand me, Straw Hat. I will wait for you since only you can take me out."
Knowing that Luffy had awakened Haki and could use it rather easily, Buggy had no choice but to rely on Luffy.
Otherwise, it would be extremely hard to escape this prison.

Luffy raised his eyebrows and pushed Buggy with his right arm. He used Buggy to break the wall and enter the control room.

Unfortunately, Luffy heard it too late, or Buggy said it too late.
"Who are they?" The guards inside began to scramble and roar.

The forest below them was full of red spiky trees
"What is this?" Luffy frowned and asked.

Buggy remembered that he could fly and placed his feet on the ground while hovering his body above those spikes.
While flying, Buggy said.
"Normally, you need to find a staircase down below. But with my method, you don't even need a key. I know a hole that can take you to the second floor."
"It's an easy exit for a prisoner to get out of Crimson Hell."
While he was talking, they reached in front of a massive hole. It was quite big.

Luffy asked in confusion.
"Because there is even a worse hell down there. People want to escape from hell, not just right into it."
Buggy said with a terrified tone.
"Alright then, let's go!"
Luffy nodded and directly jumped into the hole.

Buggy muttered and jumped.

Luffy waved his hands and said.
"Although my Conqueror Haki works quite well on animals, it is quite taxing for my body. I can't use it continuously."

Hearing that, Buggy took a deep breath and asked.

The snake beast that was born out of a chicken looked at two tiny humans talking about it and released a powerful sound.
Its name was Basilisk, and it was the second in command of the Second Level.

Facing its roar, Luffy simply waved, but when he saw the bird attacking them with its claw, Luffy clenched his fist.
