These beasts all look bizarre and don't seem like normal creatures at all.

Clearly, they're the mutated monsters from the underground world.
Although the group varies in size, with the larger Stone Giant Beasts seemingly able to crush the smaller ones, such incidents have not occurred even once. All the stone creatures seem to be marching in a formation that's most suitable for them, progressing in an orderly fashion.
The Stone Giant Beasts did not react aggressively to the giant pterosaur hovering above them.
