The process of making artificial amber is not difficult, and the residents of Ember City are particularly skilled in this area. A small, inexpensive machine can complete all the procedures, producing any shape desired, and even contain designed items. As long as it's not particularly large, it can be accomplished at a small stall.
Once the fully automated machine is turned on, the nozzle first pours a portion of resin into a container. Next, a mechanical arm nearby places the item to be encased inside, followed by more resin being poured in, and the machine vibrates to remove small bubbles inside. In no time, a piece of amber can be created.
"I want to make this!" A chubby child, clutching a freshly caught beetle, came over.
"This is a living insect," the shopkeeper said with a smile. "Good kids shouldn't be so cruel. How about I make you a flower instead?"
"Can't I make the insect?" The child dragged out his voice, clearly disappointed.
