At dusk, a convoy of SUVs drove out of Central City, forming a long line that sped across the barren plains.
The leading few cars were part of the City Guard Corps led by Ji Minzhang. These people were the main combat force of Central City. While their levels might not be the highest, their battle experience was definitely abundant.
Zone 026 was barren, like a fish about to dry up and die, with no grass or insects growing on the ground. This meant there were no snakes, bugs, rodents, or wild beasts around either, making their primary duty to guard against other cities.
There was no mature supply chain within Zone 026, and obtaining resources from outside was risky and expensive. Thus, sometimes players from other cities would come out to rob exploration teams or transport convoys sent from other cities.
