The beautiful female elf happily waved at Hill: "I'm Lynn's mom, Danni Liz, just call me Lis. Come to my house and play, Hill."
A male half-elf stood behind her, his hand clenched into a fist, pressed lightly against his mouth, coughed twice: "Lis... Could we handle business first? The Captain of the Guard is watching you."
A large hand appeared above Lis's head, swiftly grasped her collar and tossed her to the side. It belonged to a male Gold Elf clad in a sky-blue robe made of sheer fabric. A faint smile adorned his handsome face. Under the sheer robe, he wore silver-blue elven chainmail, with a slender chain on his forehead, and a crescent moon pendant made of mithril gleaming between his brows.
Hill glanced at the silver crescent moon embroidery at the edge of the robe, recognizing it as the emblem of Coron's exclusive priest: Guardian of the Elves, though most who knew them preferred to call them Elf Guards.
