Hill, a bit concerned, stood at the entrance to the dimensional space, waiting for Lynn's arrival.
There's a slight difference between puzzle locks and mazes. The power of the two combined is not just doubled, and puzzle locks can easily induce hallucinations. Hill worried that if Lynn's attention strayed, he would be tempted away from Marsha's side by illusions.
