"When mutants first appeared in the apocalypse, I hadn't thought about research. Now seeing the contents on these blueprints, I understand how many survivors were used as test subjects in order to create stable mutants, the numbers are unimaginable."
Professor Xia's tone was heavy, and the once bright eyes now bore traces of sadness.
When the apocalypse first erupted, a large number of humans died under its blade, and most of the remaining survivors also likely perished at the hands of their own kind.
Those surviving now are the lucky ones of the apocalypse.
