Gu Hang looked up at the sky covered by green clouds, tightly clenching his fists, his eyes filled with yearning, a yearning to become an Awakener.
"I've been waiting for this day for so long, let me become an Awakener, I'm willing to take on responsibilities I shouldn't have."
He gazed at the sky, shouting in his heart.
He was even prepared to stand under the thunderstorm, strip off his clothes, and fully embrace the coming storm, using the rain to cleanse his body and invigorate every cell within him.
"These clouds seem a bit strange."
Gu Hang was somewhat afraid of the greenish clouds; although he hadn't become an Awakener, he had seen thunderstorms before, just normal ones, with thick dark clouds. When had there ever been such a situation?
His heart hesitated.
"Forget it, I'd better stay home."
After thinking it over, Gu Hang decided to hide at home and watch instead; there was no need to stay in an unknown thunderstorm, in case something went wrong.
