Luke and Lilith sat at an outdoor table chatting, right next to the vast sea. The sea breeze brushed their faces, and they could faintly hear the waves lapping against the shore, which was quite soothing.
Lilith raised her glass of red wine, "Cheers."
"Cheers!" Luke also raised his glass, took a sip, and savored the taste of the red wine.
Since coming to Los Angeles, Luke had adapted to local customs and gradually got used to drinking wine.
Lilith asked, "When do you think Detective Chief Yarro will catch the thief?"
Luke gazed at the horizon, "This case isn't very difficult, and the method of the crime isn't sophisticated.
Previously, Detective Chief Yarro had made no progress in the investigation simply because the suspect's motive was misunderstood as wanting to steal the entire enamel gourd vase.
