Following the address, Luke found his house, a gray bungalow with a small yard, where the lawn was neatly trimmed, and a dark blue pickup truck parked in front of the garage.
Luke surveyed the surroundings; Port walked to the door and knocked, "Knock, knock."
After a while, the door opened.
A stocky white man in his thirties stood at the door, sizing up Luke and the others, he asked, "Who are you people?"
Port flashed a badge and introduced himself, "I'm Detective Port from the first squad of the Robbery and Murder Department, and this is our Captain Li.
We're here to investigate the Getty Museum painting heist."
"Is there something you need?"
"Are you Dolly White?"
"That's me."
"We'd like to take your statement."
"Do you know Detective Jada Landis? He already took my statement."
"I don't know the Detective Jada Landis you're talking about; we're from different departments. The Los Angeles Police Department is taking this case very seriously."
