The teacher led the class into the gym. There were already quite a few classes already there. We could see all different sizes of beast eggs. The eggs also came in different colors as well. All of the students here are so excited. There are also some who are so arrogant believing that they are going to get the perfect beast egg today. There is especially a rude and arrogant one by the name of Kyle. His family had a high standing in our city. He keeps saying that he is going to be able to get a legendary one. What makes him so confident? We all won't know what kind ours will be until they hatch. The eggs won't hatch immediately today unfortunately. If they do then most likely you have a very poor quality beast that doesn't require much nurturing. The eggs should take about a month to fully develop into their appropriate level in order to hatch. I really hope that I get a better one than him.
The waiting seems to last forever. Finally we see the principal come in. They keep their beast hidden or else we might faint from just it's aura. I had heard that his is a mythical beast. Just thinking about it makes one tremble. Mr. Titan then came up to the podium and started reading out names after a brief speech welcoming us all and wishing us the best of luck. The first one to be called was Kyle Martin the most egotistical and arrogant one. He went up to the different eggs and saw one that had the most elaborate designs on it. He walked straight up to it and with the short needle beside it, pricked his finger and let blood drop on it. Right away a cracking noise could be heard. Shortly after a very cute rainbow kitten came out. It turned out to be a low level creature that if he took the time to raise it right could become a mighty beast. However Kyle wasn't happy with the kitten. He wanted to walk away from it right then and there but couldn't since he had already contracted it. I felt sorry for the poor kitten.
Before too long more and more people were getting called up one by one. There were a few that hatched right away. There was the mystic worm, fire beetle, and water turtle. Finally my friend Michelle got called up. She walked up to an egg that seemed to be plain in color. She dropped her blood and the egg glows then returns to it's normal color. Now it's my turn. Whoo-hoo! I've had my eyes on one particular egg since we came in. It looks like it came from ancient times. I'm so happy nobody else had come to it before me. I used the needle and dropped my blood on it. Huh? No reaction? But wait I feel a connection to something inside. Oh awesome it did work. The other students were looking at me pitifully because they don't think it worked. I'll just let them think so.
