Mrs. Quinn and the rest of the Quinn Family only found out last night amidst the great commotion about the major event that had led the brothers to resort to arms.
The noise was so loud last night that households outside the Quinn Family also heard it. The police even came by, but Mrs. Quinn sent them away. Otherwise, this incident would be all over the news today, and the Quinn Family would be investigated for hiding firearms.
Though Mr. Quinn had a fiery temper, he was also smart. Usually, the brothers didn't resort to such visible actions at home despite their mutual deceit.
This was, in a way, a fine tradition passed down from Quinn: the Quinn Family must act united and harmonious at home, but outside is another story.
So over the years, there had been no precedent of open conflict among the siblings at home.
