In the blink of an eye, it was the day Charlotte Allison returned from her business trip.
After getting off the plane, she sent Lucas Quinn a message.
Lucas received the message about five minutes before his class ended. Once it was over, he headed straight to the parking lot, planning to pick up some groceries on the way home, arriving around the same time as Charlotte.
"Hey, wait up for me," Julian Wolfe caught up, grinning foolishly, "Mind giving me a lift to the Water Mirror Mall on your way?"
Ever since Lucas had started staying at the Allison Family home almost every day, he would borrow a car from Charlotte's garage to get there easily after class.
Julian was just looking to hitch a ride today; Harley Morris had gone out on business, and without Lucas's permission, he couldn't drive, so he had to bum a ride.
Without needing much explanation, Lucas knew Julian was heading to the large international supermarket to buy snacks.
"Harley gave you some money again, huh?"
