As the phone screen lit up, Charlotte Allison saw it was just Lucas Quinn who had called, and she looked up at him.

"Was it you in the kitchen just now?" She recalled the sounds coming from the kitchen earlier, initially thinking that Ms.Bert and the others were busy in the kitchen, thus assuming there was no one else around the house.
If it was just him, then the others must have been sent away by him.
