"Let's have a midnight snack later, then keep me company for a while. If you're sleepy, just rest at the hotel. I'll have a room prepared for you." Charlotte Allison handed him a bottle of mineral water.
"Don't worry about me. You go ahead and work. Isn't there a lounge in your office? If I get sleepy, I'll just sleep there." Lucas Quinn took a small sip of the water and said.
"You can't just sit idle, boyfriend. Come over and help me out." Charlotte returned to her seat and pulled a chair next to her.
Lucas, half doubting, walked over, not expecting that Charlotte would really find something for him to do.
"Your expertise is just right to help me look over these documents."
Lucas looked at the information on electronic technology and couldn't help but chuckle.
"Charlotte, you really do make the most out of everything."
He spoke with a mix of helplessness and affection.
