Charlotte Allison and Henry Shipton saw Jackson Vance and Nathaniel Hughes waiting for them at the entrance with their car parked nearby.
Jackson Vance gently said to Charlotte Allison from the car window, "Charlotte, Nathaniel is back in Kingstown. He's booked a place. Let's all get together."
"Today? That's not happening. Charlotte and I have some things to do. You guys go ahead," Henry Shipton smilingly declined on behalf of Charlotte.
"Yeah, we have things to do." Charlotte Allison said blandly.
"I'm not going either. Poor me, Michael Jude abandoned me and left on his own. Charlotte, take me with you." Sarah Joseph, who had just gotten out of another car, leaned on Charlotte's shoulder, looking pitiful.
"How about another day? I just ate a lot at the birthday banquet, and I'm really sleepy. I want to go home and sleep," said a head with pink-dyed hair poking out from the car Sarah had just been in, yawning and waving happily.
