Charlotte Allison continued at her own pace without any haste:

It borders strong countries like Germany, France, and Italy, yet remained unscathed during both World Wars, and has not experienced war for hundreds of years now. What is the reason for this?"
Speaking of his own country, Mr. Rodman Sear was rather proud.
He said, "When a Swiss citizen steps out with their right foot, they are a civilian; stepping out with left, they are a soldier. We are always prepared for war. Switzerland's all-citizen army has a strong deterrent effect on aggressors, curbing their ambitions and actions."
