Charlotte Allison had been busy in the study since breakfast, and during lunchtime, Ms. Bert mentioned she was in a video meeting and suggested he eat lunch first.
After finishing lunch, he lounged on the sofa playing games. It was almost past three when Charlotte finally came downstairs to eat lunch.
After lunch, she came over to tell him she was taking him somewhere that evening and that he should stay the night again. She also said that if he felt bored and wanted to go out, he should let Ms. Bert know, and the driver would take him out.
Lucas Quinn agreed, then obediently nestled back on the sofa, continuing to play games and occasionally snacking on the fruit Ms. Bert brought him.
Ms. Bert heard Lucas say to her politely, "Thank you."
Quietly staying there, he seemed to evoke even more maternal affection from Ms. Bert.
If she had such a well-behaved and polite child, she would surely pamper him immensely.
