The old van marked "Jinghai Dog Catching Team" screeched to a halt at the orphanage's entrance.
"Anyway, we'll just go through the motions later. This orphanage is kinda creepy, with all those widows and orphans inside; who knows, maybe there's really something protecting them."
Before getting off the bus, the veteran dog catcher "Dark Skin" leaned in to his new colleague "Elder Cat" and spoke as if it was a big deal.
Last night, after drinking a lot, he started to spill his past experiences, half-drunk and half-awake.
Turns out, as the town's "foodie," Dark Skin naturally was a frequent visitor to the areas around the orphanage.
After all, stray dogs in this area were not only common but... they were surprisingly plump.
But shortly after his first "operation," he suddenly experienced dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and auditory hallucinations, as if he had caught a serious illness.
