Long, long ago.. Humanity faced a calamity now known as "The World Breaker"
Out of nowhere, portals opened up all around the world, in which millions upon millions of disgusting monsters came out of.
Humanity couldn't stop them since man-made guns and other weapons wouldn't work on them.
In this devastating event, more then 95% of humanity perished, however, in the midst of this event, some people known as the "Awakened" got special supernatural powers gifted by the gods, 10 of these supernatural beings formed a group, called the Awakened Association,and they successfully saved humanity from the World Breaker.

Hello.. my name is Yoo Jin, I'm a 20 year old minimum wage worker, I have no supernatural powers, and my parents passed away when I was 9, so I had to take care of my sister alone while growing up, Her name is Yoo Sung.
When my parents died, they left behind a necklace, they told me I would need it one day and it would help me awaken my powers, so I keep it safe at home.
10 Minutes ago..
"Finally, my shift Is over.. I'm so tired.." said Yoo Jin.
Here is my boss, his name is James Harrison, he is an immigrant from the USA.
"Hey Jin, you seem tired, wanna go to the restaurant tonight? My treat, of course." Said James.
"Thank you sir, maybe another time." Said Jin.
I was going home , there was a shortcut so I decided to take that route since I was tired and wasn't bothered enough to go the long route.
The alley was really dark, so I couldn't see much around me, but I could make out 2 figures, one looked huge, and the other one seemed frail. They walk up to me..
"Hey, kid, you tryna get back home?" Said the large figure.
"Ah, yes I am." Said Jin
"Hah, well, you see.. this place is restricted, and if you want to go back home this way.. you're gonna have to pay up, but, we don't accept money here…" Said the large man, while smiling uncontrollably.
" These guys.. they're dangerous! I have to get out of here!" Said Jin to himself, while trying to run away.
But just as Jin was about to leave the alleyway he got pulled back by the large man, he couldn't understand how, he was pulled back at such a high speed, that he almost felt like vomiting afterwards..
Back to the present time..
" I told you.. I don't have the neckla-..AGHH!!"
" You have 10 seconds before I rip your arm out.."
Then, just as he was about to rip his arm off, the frail figure approached the man, and said:
" Alright, that's enough, Dokja."
The frail man gets up close with Jin, and Jin can make out his face, he is a short, white haired man with glossy silver eyes.
"Hmph.. I was just getting to the fun part" Said Dokja.
The frail man grabbed Jin's chin tightly, and asks him:
"Where is your family treasure? The necklace your father left behind before he died?"
"What?! how do they know about it?!" Jim thought.
"Like hell I'd tell you!" Said Jin.
However, the man starts getting impatient and punches him across the entire
alley..
Jin feels numb, he can't feel his fingers or his entire body for that matter, and there was indescribable pain stinging his entire body, he felt cold, and his breaths were getting shorter by the second.. Jus as he was about to die..
