When the Archbishop looked over, Tiara couldn't help but flinch even though they were quite a distance apart. Warning alarms had already rang in her mind.
But before she could inform Issac, the Hell Knight's own heightened sense of danger caused him to dodge sideways.
On top of the wall, a humongous spear of light suddenly lit up from one of the west-side bastions, instantly flying up to the lone enemy commander.
Even though Issac dogged, the radiant spear redirected itself in midair, as if it had a mind of its own.
"Interesting, an esteemed Archbishop is resorting to sneak attacks." Issac jumped in midair and swiped vertically downward.
A dark red aura conjured up in front of him, blocking the spear of light which rapidly purified the hellish mana. This purification process finally spent the energy sustaining that spear as it fizzled into golden sparks before disappearing.
