Jayr POV - Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Universe, Central World, Magic Continent, Great Canaat Mountains, Dragon's Den - 2013 AMB
Standing in front of the entrance of the cave where Gaia is sealed, I hear the voice of a very nervous but at the same time very excited Milim standing next to me as she looks at me and asks for the umpteenth time, "Jayr! Are you really, really, really sure that you can help Gaia!? You promise me that nothing will happen to him?"
I turn my head to look at my cute, newly acquired big sister, and with a gentle smile on my face, I reassure her once more while patting her head, "Don't worry, Milim. As I've already told you before, I'm 100% sure that I can help Gaia. Trust your little brother. This is as simple as taking a carefree walk in the park for me."
Hearing that, Milim smiles and shouts, "Okay, Jayr! Let's go and help Gaia! Follow me!"
Shortly after that, Milim fearlessly walks toward the cave's entrance and, with a simple punch, she directly destroys the invisible Magic Seal blocking the entrance, generating a massive shockwave that makes the whole mountain shake and all the nearby Dragons and other creatures living here flee in panic.
Then Milim turns around and simply grins before she walks into the cave, and I calmly follow after her while thinking, 'As expected from Milim... Even if she is the one who created the seal in the first place, she simply chose to destroy it instead of dispel it only because it is faster and less complicated this way while completely ignoring the consequences of her actions...'
As soon as I step into the cave, I immediately notice the extremely high concentration of both Magicules and Dragon Factor, making me realize, 'Whoa... The concentration of Magicules in this cave is so high that if a regular, untrained Human or even a Demi-human takes even a single step inside, then he will die almost instantly... Hell, even trained adventurers, elementals, and regular monsters may not survive such high concentration. This is almost ridiculous. On top of that, there is also a very high concentration of Dragon Factor all over this cave, making it even more unlikely for them to survive, and even if they do, the chances of them mutating into some form of dragonic subspecies are extremely high. Only the very strongest could walk into this cave and be completely unaffected.'
Naturally, with such an extremely high concentration of Magicules, it also causes the formation of an equally massive number of extremely powerful monsters. Luckily, thanks to the high concentration of Dragon Factor, all the monsters that are born in this cave are also dragonic in nature, and as such, they also fall under the influence of my Divinity as God of Dragons.
Like the two massive Earth Dragons currently standing in our way, who immediately showed complete submission as soon as they noticed my presence, much to Milim's confusion, who was already preparing to destroy them with one of her light punches.
Watching the behavior of those two Earth Dragons, Milm cutely tilts her head and mutters, "This is strange... I've never seen a wild Dragon behave like that... I usually have to hit them a few times before they learn..."
At this point, I step forward and calmly tell her, "This is because their most primal instincts order them not to defy me. That they stand in front of a completely superior existence. On top of that, their minds are way too simple to even try to defy my Authority."
Hearing that, Milim repeats the unfamiliar term in a questioning tone, "Authority?" Before she asks, "Isn't that something that kings and Demon Lords have over their subjects?"
In response to her question, I patiently explain, "It is similar in a way, but with a much more special meaning. I am not talking about something as feeble as a mortal authority. I am talking about true power, Authority with the capital 'A'. A right granted to every Divine Being that gives them total control over their dominion. In my case, it is my Authority as God of Dragons that makes these two Earth Dragons so docile."
Milim nods as she understands my explanation and says, "I see, your Authority as God of Dragons... Eh?" before she finally realizes and exclaims, "Wait! Wait! Wait! You are a God!? A God of Dragons!? How is that possible!? I also have Divinity, but I have no such thing as Authority!"
At this point, I start to explain, "Well, that's because there is some difference between having Divinity and Godhood. Divinity is a state achieved when a spiritual life-form that possesses a material body completes the process of awakening and becomes immortal as a result. It is different from the Godhood, and beings who possess it do not have any Authority. They are, however, extremely powerful. On the other hand, Godhood is the 'Supreme Virtue' that separates a god from lower beings. To achieve such a state, a mortal must reach a considerable level of power, enough to completely transcend one's previous state, have some form of outside support like the power of Faith of other mortals, or reach true enlightenment, of the likes of which rarely ever happens."
As I explain that to a very interested Milim, we continue to advance toward our destination, completely ignoring all the monsters we met on our way, as their dragonic nature makes them completely unable to act against me, and they all immediately submit and let us pass, offering no resistance at all.
Meanwhile, my explanation continues uninterrupted, "There are various levels of Godhood. The most basic level of Godhood is almost indistinguishable from Divinity, as they grant more or less the same benefits and powers. However, the biggest difference is that even at the most basic level, any being that reaches Godhood has some kind of domain it is associated with. This domain can literally be anything: the sea, the sky, the trees, pain, pleasure, lust, love, dream, time, space... You name it, and there is likely some God of it out there in the Omniverse. Anyway, the higher the level of Godhood one reaches, the more Authority one is granted over that specific domain."
After my explanation, I decided to take advantage of this opportunity to tell Milim more about the reason behind my presence in this universe, as until now, I still haven't found the right opportunity to do so.
In the end, as we continued to walk deeper and deeper into this massive cave system completely unbothered by the dragonic monster living here, I told Milim about the fact that I originate from another universe, about the Battle Across the Omniverse, about the Concepts, about the Champions, and more specifically about the Champion of Power that intends to invade this universe with his armies, not only to hunt down the other Champions but also to completely destroy this universe for no other reason but to please his backer whose only objective is consuming everything to become the living center of a swirling, infinite torrent of nothingness at the end of all things.
Needless to say, Milim was pretty pissed at the idea that someone was about to invade her universe with the only objective of destroying everything, and quickly she decided that she wanted to join us to give them a taste of her fist.
After that, I told Milim my plan to contact Guy Crimson, inform him of the situation, and tell him to organize a Walpurgis Banquet so that all the Demon Lords that are part of the Demon Lord Council can be informed and prepare for the invasion.
In response to that, Milim quickly agreed to give me her support and promised that she would help me convince the other Demon Lord. She said this while grinning widely, making me understand that she will likely use force to make the Demon Lords more cooperative.
Then we moved away from the more grim topics as Milim wanted to know more about me and my story, while also being genuinely curious about the many different universes I explored.
I think about it for a few seconds, but realizing that we are still about halfway from our destination, the area where Milim sealed Gaia, I decide to fulfill her request and tell her more about my story and my adventures in the other universes.
I start by telling Milim about my reincarnation in my home universe, the Saint Seiya Universe, how I was born as a regular human in a mostly normal family, how I left my home at the age of 5 to train at the Sanctuary under my Grandfather's guidance in order to become a Saint, a warrior of the Goddess Athena who dons mythical armors called Cloths that fights to protect humanity and the rest of the world from malicious Deities and their servants.
I tell her about the post stress, trauma disorder-inducing training I experienced at the hands of my strict but thoughtful Grandfather, while also learning everything I could about how to heal and help people, a desire that I inherited from my previous life's experience.
Then I continued my story by telling her how I became stronger and stronger until one day, I earned the recognition of the Crateris Silver Cloth and thus became the Crateris Silver Saint at the age of twelve.
How a year later, I left the Sanctuary to explore the world while also preparing and gathering allies for the conflicts I knew were about to erupt, meeting new people, making new friends, growing stronger, and helping all the people that were within my reach during my journey.
Milim was greatly interested in my story, to the point that she directly stopped walking and climbed on my back to fully focus on it without wasting brain power on walking.
Meanwhile, my narration continues as I reach the point where I meet the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena for the first time, making use of the ability of Cloth to warn her about the looming dangers while also gaining her trust before we start to plan how to deal with the most pressing issue.
At this point, the story's pace kicks up as I narrate the events of the Galaxy Wars and Ikki's "betrayal," where the Bronze Saints fought one another to "earn" the right to don the mythical Sagittarius Gold Cloth, only for it to be stolen by Ikki and the Black Saint in order to use it for their nefarious purposes.
But of course, all that was just a ploy; the real reason was to make them experience some real hard-fought battles in a relatively safe environment so that they could grow even stronger in preparation for the real conflict against darker forces.
The first of these darker forces infiltrated the very core of the Sanctuary, possessing the man who became the Pope, misguiding and corrupting him so that he would act against Athena, the very Goddess he swore to protect, and thus weaken the Sanctuary.
It didn't take long for the possessed Pope to make his move, sending the forces of the Sanctuary in the form of a team of Silver Saints against the Bronze Saints and Athena, but since I and Athena already knew what he was going to do we were already prepared for it so we quickly deal with the situation, even more so because among those Silver Saints there was my big sister Shaina, who quickly helped us in safely taking them out.
After that, I tell Milim about our counterattack, how we "invaded" the Sanctuary and climbed up the Golden Zodiac, passing through the 12 temples protected by the Gold Saints, the strongest warriors under Athena.
Of course, I tell Milim how many of these Gold Saints were actually my friends and allies who already knew the truth behind the conflict and that while they followed the Pope's orders on the surface, but in truth, they simply trained the Bronze Saints helping them grow even stronger under the pressure of their immense power before simply letting them advance once they broke past their limits and reached a higher level of power.
Finally, I narrate my intense final battle against the possessed Pope, who is one of the strongest Gold Saints, in vivid detail and how, in the end, I was able to defeat him, purge the evil influence using Athena's Aegis Shield, and return peace to the Sanctuary.
Unfortunately, this period of peace didn't last very long as we were quickly confronted by another threat, this time in the form of the godly fury of Poseidon, who, in a half-awakened state, was manipulated into wiping out all of humanity for good in order to create a utopia for himself and his followers.
Naturally, the Goddess Athena and her Saints moved to stop him, thus starting yet another Holy War against the God of the Sea, Poseidon.
At this point, I tell to the still very engaged Milim how I led a group of Silver Saint to invade Poseidon's realm, how we fought against his strongest warriors and prevalied, and how in the end we fought against Poseidon himself only to be able to barely wound him despite us throwing everything we had at him, making me fully understand for the first time the immense gulf between a mortal and a God.
That small wound was enough to fully wake up the God Poseidon, who, fully enraged, wanted to destroy everything, but luckily, with a little help from Athena, we were able to calm him down and negotiate peace, bringing a swift end to this Holy War, but all that was only the prelude of what was to come.
After the Holy War against Poseidon, the true enemy finally revealed himself and made his move: it was the God of the Underworld, Hades.
He was the mastermind behind everything that happened until now, and his only objective was to weaken his sworn enemy, the Goddess Athena, and the Sanctuary as much as possible in preparation for their inevitable conflict that repeated itself time and time again since the Age of Myth.
Hades' first move was to send a group of his loyal warriors, named Specters, to invade the Sanctuary, strained now by the constant battles, and directly kill Athena in one swift stroke.
However, Athena's Saints were ready for that and fought to repel and kill every single Specter that dared to invade.
Among those Specters there was also the former Pope of Athena, Aries Shion, the one who was killed by, at the time, corrupted Saint that then took his place, but he didn't come to kill Athena, but instead he was here to help and guide her and his fellow Saints and only feigned his betrayal in order to have chance to do so.
With his help, Athena devised a very bold plan where she actually killed herself in order to enter Hades' realm while at the same time lowering the enemy guard to allow me and a few other Saints strong enough to defy the rules of the Underworld to invade it and help Athena defeat Hades once and for all.
At this point, I narrate the events I experienced in the Underworld, how I watched over my fellow Saints from the distance, how I met Eurydice and Orphèe and helped them, my battle against the Specters, how Hades possessed one of my friends and how he was able to free himself, how we broke through the Wailing Wall and crossed the Hyperdimension, my meeting with the God of Death Thanatos and the God of Sleep Hypnos, how during that tense battle I broke through my limits and unleashed the God Cloth granting me enough power to defeat the Gods, and in the end, I told her about the last desperate battle against the true body of Hades, how I almost died protecting Athena, something that made Milim cry as she swore to kill Hades for harming her little brother, but in the end she calmed down when I told her how I survived and come out victorious as Athena killed Hades.
After that, I move on by telling her how I left my universe for the first time and arrived in the Arifureta Universe, where I first explored the Orcus Great Labyrinth in order to improve my fragile human body and gain the ability to use Magic by eating the very deadly, very nasty, but irrefutably useful Monster Meat.
I continue the story by telling Milim about the exploration of the first few levels of the Orcus Great Labyrinth together with a group of people summoned from another world, the deadly trap one of them triggered, how I discreetly helped them until the bridge collapsed, how I saved Eri's life, and how she taught me how to use magic afterward.
Then I told her about the exploration of the lower levels where I killed and ate all the monsters to further improve my abilities until we reached the end, where we killed the Hydra and later learned about the true story of that world and of the evil god ruling it in addition to the Creation Magic, one of the Ancient Magic of the Age of Gods a group of seven powerful magical skills that worked as the origin and basis for all existing magical concepts in that universe which govern over one core concept aspect of existence.
After that, I tell her the rest of my adventures exploring the world of Tortus, diving into the other Great Labyrinths to learn the remaining Ancient Magics of the Age of Gods while dealing with forces of the evil God, meeting new people and gaining new friends until in the end, I fought against the very evil God to free that world from his tyrannical rule once and for all, even more so as he grew more desperate and wanted to slaughter every other living being in order to fuel his advancement.
After having defeated the evil god, peace returned to the world of Tortus, and people and rulers of various races started to work together to create a better future for everyone.
But one of those leaders had the bright idea of creating a new religion to replace the one of the fallen god, and they decided to use me as the main god of that religion, forcing me to create a sacred book and rules to make sure that none of the usual problems that religions usually generate would surface.
Especially since the domain of the "God" in question was things like Healing and Justice, and after that, I left that universe.
Having concluded my summary of the events that took place in the Arifureta Universe, I once again check our current location and notice that we are almost there, but since there is not much to do since the dragonic monsters living in this very complex and massive labirinth-like cave do not even dare to show any kind of aggresivity toward us, I continue to entertain Milim by telling her my adventures in the Omniverse.
So, as we continue to advance, I quickly tell her about my great adventure in the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Universe, where I have almost died almost immediately as my energies mixed with the Spiral Power and got out of control, luckly I was able to fix the situation with a little bit of help from my most trusted partner, the Silver Cloth Crateris and by acknowledging those energies, and giving them a proper direction and purpose.
After that, I tell her how I found a mini-type Gunmen, took owneship of it and named it Cratergann in honor of my most trusted partner before fully exploring that world, having an exciting mecha battle against some Gunmen, saving someone who raised a death flag, and watching over the members of a budding rebellion as they coped with the "loss" of their previous leader and rised up through countless challenges before leaving them to their own device to continue to explore that world once I deemed them ready.
Then, I told Milim how I found some Gunmen compatible with Cratergann shortly after leaving behind that group, and since the ones who had them were very bad people, I took them off their hands.
At this point, I tell Milim the embarassing story of my ascension into Godhood, where in my excitement to test out the newly acquired Gunmen I messed up and further unbalaced my previously stable state making my energies go out of control once more, but I was again able to fix the situation by merging them to form my signature Spiral Cosmo by using a lot of luck, Crateris' help, and some insane Jojo's logic.
However, I also tell Milim that thanks to that small mishap, I had also broken through my limits once more and fully ascended into Godhood, becoming the God of Healing, Justice, and Dragons while increasing my power to unimaginable levels.
At this point, I tell Milim how I met with Lordgenome, the bad guy who was in fact the good guy, as he was secretly protecting humanity from complete eradication and the destruction of the entire universe, how I showed him a very likely future, and convinced him to fight to create a better future for everyone.
After that, I worked together with Lordgenome to not only train the group of rebels who would become the main force against the true enemy, but then, we moved on to fight the one I consider one of the strongest enemies I have ever fought, Anti-Spiral.
I narrate the very exciting but tense battles against the Anti-Spiral in as much vivid detail as possible, keeping Milim very engaged, especially when I talked about galaxy-sized robots duking out and throwing literally galaxies at each other like they were shurikens.
Then I move on and tell Milim about the sudden Random Battle in the Boys Universe, trying to keep it as PG as possible, as that was one of the worst universes I visited, at least from a moral standpoint.
I mostly told Milim about me taking care of the bad guys, and my "battle" with Nikita that ended in my victory and Nikita becoming my friend, and after that, I continued by telling her how I returned to my home universe to be there for my children's birth.
At this point, Milim exclaims by screaming in my ear, "Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Stop a moment! What!? Children!? You have kids!?"
Hearing that, I scratch my cheek with my finger and say, "Well... Yes. I have three kids... their names are Kharna, Galen, and Seiji. Actually, another one is on the way. So, I guess you are an aunt now..."
Milim seems stunned by my revelation as she keeps muttering, "I am an aunt... I am an aunt... I am an aunt... Kharna... Galen... Seiji..." but then I feel her body tremble slightly before she laughs out loud and exclaims, "Hahaha! This is great! I am an aunt!"
After that, Milim hops down from my back and stands in front of me with glittering, excited eyes as she launches a barrage of questions, "How big are they? Who is their mother? Are they strong? When can I meet them? Can I destroy everything that may make them sad? Will they like me?"
I smile wryly before I give her a brief description of my kids and tell her that we can meet them after we have helped Gaia, then I also reassure her that they will surely like and accept her as their new aunt as long as her feelings are sincere.
After saying all that, I add, "By the way, I may have skipped over some details, but now that we are talking about it, I can tell you a bit more. You see, I've six wives, and this means that Galen, Kharna, and Seiji have different mothers. However, we are one big family. Each one of my wives treats the kids like they are their own. Now, since you decided to adopt me a your little brother, it means that you too are part of the family, so be prepared, as it is indeed quite big."
