Skull Lord stared at Cain for several seconds, his gaze steady and contemplative as he weighed the young man's words. Finally, the True Depravita nodded.
"I understand your situation," Skull Lord said calmly. "If you are indeed able to restrain yourself in the event that the truth displeases you, and if you are willing to wait until the war is concluded, then I will not interfere with your path. However, for now, I can only permit you to speak with them and demand answers. I will not allow you to harm the Three Moons."
Cain listened without interruption, his expression composed.
"They refuse to take part in the war directly," Skull Lord continued, "but their information has been critical to many of our strategies. Thanks to their guidance, we have managed to retain control over more than sixty percent of the continents in the Fourth Realm. Losing them now would weaken the Life Path at a pivotal moment."
