The Scarlet Path had become a river of wealth, flowing faster with each season—especially after the business agreements struck with Divine Sea Heaven. Fortunes shifted hands daily. But such fortune was as dangerous as it was powerful. If not carefully handled, it could sow corruption, resentment, and chaos.
That wealth needed to be distributed with precision and fairness. Precious prime matter had to be refined into potent treasures and cultivation resources, funneled through the Ouroboros System so warriors could access them. Archdeity-level artifacts also had to be carefully allocated, both as rewards for warriors and as gifts for Divine Sea Heaven, whose allowance had enabled the Scarlet Path's expansion and its crusade against the wicked.
