Celestia miraculously projected the bullet in a straight path forward. The bullet pierced through the center of the gargoyle's neck, marking a wide hole in it. The shot is too fast for the naked eye to see. With the shock, Celestia's hand flew to her chest with her mouth falling open.
"I missed…" Celestia said and chuckles with sweat. The gargoyle stopped with its head down. "I'll fire another spell. I'm going to be sure this will hit."
"Wait!" Adeline shouted as she raise her palm towards Celestia before she cast her spell. She narrows her eyes to have a clear analysis. "It's breaking down."
The gargoyle's body summoned cracks that continuously wrap throughout its body. Its eyes are closed, showing them that it is currently not hostile. When the crack covered the whole of its body, the stone breaks down starting from its fingers and toes, and climbs up towards the body. The image of a monster vanished, and what's left is a pile of stone and clouds of dust wandering with the air.
