"GODDAMN IT!"
I punched the ground with my clenched fist and teeth. My muscles are quivering as I growl. I only have one task, to protect her, but that person can't be me.
Since Saori left, I've been on the ground kneeling and bowing as I scream. Minutes after, I just lost the energy to scream anymore.
Not so long ago, I just realized that I'm just holding back anyone. I'm not doing anything essential at all. I'm dead weight. It's better if I didn't exist here… that I didn't know anyone.
I should have just isolated myself again, like what I did this past year after the issue with my dad. If I did that, I would never become a burden anymore.
It hurts… it feels dull inside me. I can't even breathe air the same way again, knowing that I'm the reason why everyone failed.
If I'm just stronger… No. This is all that man's fault. That tall warmonger… Why is he even here!? Why us, kids, need to face a soldier like him? It's unfair!
