He also can't understand how he was able to finish his shift in apparent peace.

Right now, he feels as if he's watching his life flash by on a giant screen, lost in a dark void.

As if he weren't himself.

At that moment, as if his mind had switched on, he sees Raúl pass by.

He comes to say goodbye.

He says he'll go to Rose's house after work.

He's also asked if she needs anything, to find out how she's feeling.

Jhon says he feels a little calmer.

It's clear that all of this has been getting worse, but he's extremely grateful that she hasn't forgotten.

Raúl watches him with concern; he feels deeply sad that he's not as available to Jhon as he would like.

It's just that Rose has been having hysterical attacks, and this week she's going to take her to stay with her mother.

She might not be able to see her often anymore.

She asked for a few days off for the trip; Rose's mother's house is about five counties away.

He reminds Jhon that he'll be on his phone all the time anyway.

He leaves early the next morning.

Jhon says goodbye to his friend and approaches him.

As usual, they part with a handshake for a hug, and Jhon complains of pain in his hand.

This alerts Raúl.

Jhon justifies himself, saying it's nothing serious; he still hasn't finished cleaning some things around the house.
